Investment Strategy

Our long-term aim is to help end energy poverty by building reliable energy systems that support businesses, infrastructure and local development.

We invest mainly in emerging markets, where one project can serve many needs at once - agriculture, cold storage, processing, mining, industry, municipalities and the grid.

We usually co-invest early and work with experienced local partners to bring projects to bankability.  We facilitate access to capital at each stage, from development funding and construction finance to debt, mezzanine, strategic equity and long-term investors.

We are always open to opportunities where our capital, experience and network can make a real difference. The best partnerships combine local knowledge with shared risk, practical execution and a clear path to an operating asset.
